I used to tell people that "everything I need to know I learned in kindergartern". After all you don't need to know much in life. All you need to do is walk, speak, and sleep and you're set. But I guess to be a little bit more civilized there are other things you should learn, those things you can learn from playing fantasy baseball. here are just some of the pearls of wisdom I've learned.

"A chain is no stronger than it's weakest link" - And my weakest link this season was Josh Beckett who after winning the World Series MVP became a pitcher with an ERA of 5. That's a pretty weak link.

"A day of traveling brings a basketful of learning - For example, when Jim Edmonds traveled from my team to Tim's team, i learned that well, it wasn't a good idea.

"Bad gains are true losses" - Can you say Angel Berroa?

"Be nice to people on your way up because you might meet 'em on your way down" - I'm sorry tim for thinking you suck.

"Beginning is easy; continuing, hard" - I WAS 13 - 0 after the first week...

"Count your blessings" - Roy Oswalt, Tim Hudson, Miguel Tejada. Three. That's it! Three blessings!

"Depend on others and you will go hungry" - I'm staring here Maggs!

"Don't believe everything you hear" - Alfonso Soriano is the a good choice for number 3 overall?
